1. You get a tax break. Currently the Louisiana state tax rebate is 50%, up to $25,000 per system. You can continue to purchase systems until your electric bill is zeroed out. Most of our customers start with two systems and install more the following year.

2. Solar Systems pay you back. Your savings start immediately when you install solar electric systems for you home. Producing your own electricity will reduce or completely eliminate your electric bill.

3. Your homes resale value goes up. When you are selling your home, realtors and homebuyers view solar electric systems as a significant value-added improvement. It’s similar to adding a deck, except that this improvement also has the added benefit of reducing your electric bills.

4. Your Electric Company credits you for the excess electricity that you produce. Louisiana State Law requires net metering. This allows you to sell back any excess electricity that your system produces. You benefit from reduced, if not completely eliminated, electric cost.

5. Solar Technology has improved. Solar panels have been around for 50 years. Today, solar electric components are much more efficient than their predecessors. Most come with a 25 year warranty.
